Ava Issary, Esq.

Ava is the founder of Vár Law, APC, a modern law practice dedicated to protecting both personal and business interests in the transactional and pre-litigation space. She advises clients on estate planning, personal injury, family law matters, business formation, transactional contracts, and intellectual property, offering practical and forward-looking legal solutions.

Ava earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with honors, from UCLA with a minor in Iranian Studies. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School’s prestigious SCALE accelerated two-year program, where she concentrated in Technology Law and Entrepreneurship. Ava earned honors including the Bluebook Award and Witkin Award in “Representing Entrepreneurs.”

Ava also served as a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the Central District of California, where she prepared bench memoranda and reviewed complaints in intellectual property, bankruptcy, and immigration matters. Her internship at start up company Lawgood, where she contributed to the development of a contract-drafting tool for law firms across the country, deepened her interest in technology law and transactional law.

Ava is licensed to practice law in California.

With experience ranging from class action litigation to probate disputes and intellectual property strategy, Ava brings both depth and versatility to her practice.
